GO BRONCOS!!!!
Do any of my buddies love football? Well if you didn’t know already, I am a huge football fanatic, especially when it comes to the Denver Broncos. Tonight they are playing the Oakland Raiders, one of the biggest rivalries in football. It’s gonna be one heck of a game - I can feel it in my bones. All I can say is: GO BRONCOS! I’ve loved football from the time I was a little girl - when I used to watch my daddy and wonder what all the fuss was about, and why he was screaming and swearing at the television LOL~ Okay, so he never swore that badly, but once in a while I’d hear a word I didn’t understand. ;-) I started asking him questions about the game, and at first he looked at me as if I was nuts. But then he could see that I was completely serious and started sincerely answering me. And now - I think I know more about the game than he does.
So…..anyway, we’re ordering pizza and drinking rootbeer for game time tonight. It sounds so horrible now that I’ve denied myself these things for the past couple of months. And I hate to think of the few pounds I could gain from all of this. However, I must stop being paranoid and just let myself relax and have some fun. It’s okay to reward yourself once in awhile for special occassions. And that’s all I have to say about that.
By the way, isn’t justification wonderful??

Ugh, I’m SO jealous! I will have to live vicariously through you, since here in New Zealand they don’t even have football…I love the Broncos! My Papa coached high school football, and my mom has three brothers who all played and now coach, and my bro plays too…so football is just a way of life for us! I’m sad I’m missing the Oakland game, ugh, I LOATHE the Raiders! Cheer extra loud for me okay? And if you think of it, send me a post-game review??

I know absolutely NADA about football, other than my dad has it on the television 24/7 during football season, and now since my son is playing this year, I must learn the game and get in on the action.
Pass me a slice of pizza will ya? If you going to make me salivate at my computer, then you have to share. HUMPH! lol

I didnt get into football till just the last few years. Once you start to get to know the game and players things change. When I worked at Wells Fargo there in Lonetree, CO I met most of the Bronco’s who were on the team then. Must have been 2003-2005 (end of year) They all banked at that one since it was the RICH part of town. They became just normal guys to us. It was fun to watch the men and kids get all excited when they would come in. We had a few Avalanche players come in too.
