Hey buddddd-ies!! ;-)

It’s been such a long time since I’ve blogged, and you’re all probably saying, “Who is she again??”  LOL~  Well, my name is Jen Jen, and…I live in Denver. I married the most beautiful man in the entire world, and here I am on Buddy Slim because I love to blog, and I love to be around other people who are trying to loose some weight as I am.  I also enjoy the friendships I’ve made here, and the ideas and the positive influences and the fun experiences and all that from the people around me here in cyberspace.  It’s been an awesome ride!!

Okay, so now you know me again…(ha!)  now we can get down to business.  I’ve managed to loose 11 pounds in the 2 months I’ve been dilligently working on my weight loss. However, just last week I gained back 5 of them, and fuuny - I don’t feel the least bit unhappy about it.  My hubby and I just got back from the best vacation ever!  I’ve always been real “gaa-gaa” over Elvis Presley, ever since I was a wee one, so my husband flew me all the way to Tennessee just so I could visit Graceland up close and personal. It was sooooooo wonderful!  I came away from that experience with a deeper understanding of not just a handsome, hunk-o- hunk of burning love, but a human being, a man who struggled to make his way in this crazy world, human just like the rest of us.   I loved every second of it!   Then we drove across the entire state from Memphis to Nashville (I couldn’t find Tim McGraw or Faith Hill, darn it!!)  then on to Knoxville and Johnson City.  (We drove in the cutest PT Cruizer, yeah baby!!)  We stayed the weekend in Johnson City with the Parker Family, our dear friends.  It was a fabulous, fun, relaxing and incredible weekend, and we enjoyed every minute of it.  Karen was the perfect hostess.  And Princess Taryn just won our hearts and tickled us pink!   Trent and the boys were so cute, and we fell madly in love with them all.  Then we flew back to Denver and spent the entire time wishing we could go back and do it all over again. I fell in love with my husband all over again, and appreciated the fact that he chose to marry me, out of all the girls in the world.  It’s an honor spending my life at his side. I love him with all my heart.

Then I stepped on the scale and laughed…   Oh well. It’s better to laugh than cry, right??  LOL~

So it’s time to get back to reality and work dilligently on my diet again. I’ve missed the gym so much!!  I will post some pictures later of our trip.  And I suppose I better fix my weight ticker to tell the truth…darn it anyway! ;-)  I better sign off and get back to work.
